For more than 40 years, Sandlapper magazine has been telling the never-ending story of the state of South Carolina. Published quarterly, Sandlapper covers South Carolina's people, places, culture and history. Produced by the Sandlapper Society, Sandlapper magazine is beloved to Palmetto state residents and visitors alike.
The Sandlapper Society is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational organization. Most of our members are college-educated with an average income of $45,000 to $55,000 per year. Approximately 42% of our subscribers are located in the Midlands, 30% are from the Upstate, 15% are from the Lowcountry with the balance of 13% being from outside of South Carolina.
